Scope

  • Determine the residual stresses, deformation, and thermal analysis of the additive manufacturing process of a drone body.

  • Using Autodesk Inventor to model the body and ANSYS to simulate the process, the results gave evidence on how to modify the topography to reduce residual stresses.
